Job Requirements
Candidates applying for this senior geotechnical engineer position in Indonesia should meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably majoring in Geotechnical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Senior Engineer in a related field
Previous experience in Mining (coal, nickel laterite, gold) and/or Oil & Gas projects (onshore or nearshore) is a strong advantage
Willingness to perform site visits across various project locations in Indonesia
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer include:
Preparing geotechnical design basis and slope stability analysis using Slide, GeoStudio Slope/W, and PLAXIS
Conducting foundation analysis with APILE or equivalent software
Developing geotechnical design standards and technical specifications
Preparing technical reports, presentations, and engineering proposals
Coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Supervising junior geotechnical engineers within project teams
Supporting project management activities for geotechnical studies and operations
