As part of this Geotechnical Engineer Vacancy, you will work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to perform geotechnical analysis, design engineering solutions, and interpret site investigation data to support project development.
Job Overview – Geotechnical Engineer Vacancy
The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for conducting geotechnical assessments, evaluating soil and rock properties, preparing engineering reports, and performing numerical modeling using advanced geotechnical software. Candidates must have proven experience in the mining, geotechnical, or civil engineering sector.
Qualifications for Geotechnical Engineer Vacancy
Education
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
Master’s degree (S2) or PhD is an advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability, and geotechnical design.
Proficient with PLAXIS 2D/3D, GeoStudio, and related geotechnical software.
Capable of interpreting bore logs, SPT, CPT, and laboratory soil test data.
Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Capable of managing multiple projects and working under pressure.
High integrity and readiness to sign technical documents.
Experience & Additional Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of work experience in geotechnical engineering or related industries.
Experience in mining, infrastructure, or energy projects is a strong advantage.
Willing to travel and work on project sites.
Relevant professional certification is preferred.
